Stuart Thorp is a stunt coordinator and performer. Based in Auckland, New Zealand, Thorp's notable film credits include serving as the stunt coordinator for James Cameron's Avatar (2009) and its sequel Avatar: The Way of Water (2022), as well as for Zero Dark Thirty (2012), Evil Dead Rise (2023), and Skyscraper (2018). He has also worked as an assistant stunt coordinator on films like Jungle Cruise (2019) and The Meg (2018). In television, Thorp has made significant contributions as the stunt coordinator for series such as Ash vs Evil Dead (2015–2018) and Spartacus (2010–2013), where he also served as a second-unit director.
